Kate's Favorites Around Town
- Within Walking Distance: library, Eastham Superette, Eastham Liquor store, First Encounter Coffee House (and Unitarian Church and monthly Shabbat service), town green with windmill and Monday night band concerts, Town Hall, post office, police and fire.
- Less than 3 miles: One mile to bay beach, less than two miles to Cape Cod National Seashore Visitors Center and beaches.
- 3 or more miles: Three miles west to Orleans, with large supermarkets, galleries, shopping and the excellent Orleans Wine and Liquors.
- Along Route 6 East you will find home made ice cream, Box Lunch, miniature golf, the Wellfleet Drive-In and flea market, a variety of restaurants including Arnold's for casual dining (lobsters and fried everything), Eastham Lobster Pool, Finely JP's, and Moby Dick (in Wellfleet). Twenty minutes gets you to the galleries and New England small town atmosphere of Wellfleet and 35 minutes to the excitement of Provincetown.
